Everyone knows what the Roman catholic Church is . You are taught about it in school since The Roman Catholic Church has been a major player in world events. You see it TV and movies all the time. Because of the religious history and the aura and mystique of the church it is the most well known religion in the world.

Catholics believe There is One God and he is part of the Holy Trinity : The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. We live by the Sacred Scripture and the Sacred tradition also known as the "deposit of faith" These are interpreted by the Magisterium, or the teaching body of the Church.

In the Council or Trent it was ruled that Jesus created Seven Sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, The Eucharist, Penance, Anointing Of The Sick, Holy Orders and Holy Matrimony. These sacraments are used to bring one closer to God when administered properly by a priest.

Catholics are big on Saints. We love Saints. Being an Irish Catholic I have Saint Grellan as my patron.

There is so much more to the Roman Catholic experience. I am much more than the Christmas and Easter Catholics that just visit the church on those days.
